Privacy policy: what this site collects, and what it does not

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no external resources. What it collects nonetheless, on what basis, and the rights you can exercise.

Does this site collect data about me?

No, not directly, and that is verifiable. This site is made of static files. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics, and loads no external resources — no font hosted elsewhere, no library, no third-party image. No request is sent to any other domain when you read a page.

It is a choice, and it has a cost: the publisher does not know how many people read this site, or what they are looking for.

What does the host see?

What any web server sees: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser. These technical logs are produced and kept by the host, HOSTINGER, UAB, to run and secure the service. The publisher does not access them and makes no use of them.

Their processing falls under the host’s own privacy policy, which is where you should look.

Who hosts this site

And if I write to you?

The address contact@aiactinsight.eu receives what you send it, and nothing else. Your message and your email address are kept for as long as it takes to deal with your request, then deleted. They are not sold, not used for anything else, and not added to any mailing list.

What happens to what I enter in the form?

Your answers go to Formspree, which forwards them by email to contact@aiactinsight.eu. The form collects your first name, your last name, your work email address, and your answers about your organisation: its size, your role, your position under the Regulation, what prompts your request, how far along you are, and the free text you write. The page you are writing from is attached to the submission.

Formspree is a US service, hosted on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Your data therefore leaves the European Union. Formspree acts as a processor and frames that transfer with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Those answers serve to handle your request, and nothing else. They are not sold, not added to any mailing list, and not used to send you anything other than the answer you are waiting for. They are deleted from the Formspree interface once the request has been handled.

The form is not compulsory. The address contact@aiactinsight.eu reaches us directly, with no US intermediary, and gets you the same answers.

Who is the controller?

The publisher of this site, who publishes under the name Digital Factory, reachable at contact@aiactinsight.eu. That is the address at which the rights set out below are exercised.

On legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation, for the sole processing of a message or a request you choose to send us. That interest is answering a request you made yourself.

No processing on this site rests on consent, for the simple reason that no processing takes place unless you take the initiative of writing or filling in the form.

What are your rights?

The General Data Protection Regulation gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection over data concerning you. They are exercised at contact@aiactinsight.eu.

In practice, on this site, those rights bear only on the messages and requests you have sent: that is the only thing the publisher holds. For the server’s technical logs, the request goes to the host.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — for this site, the French data protection authority.

Does this site use artificial intelligence?

Yes, to produce it — and the question deserves asking on a site about the AI Act. The pages are written with the assistance of a language model, from the official texts, then checked against those texts: an automated control compares every published quotation with the official corpus, and an adversarial review is run by a model other than the one that drafted.

That use processes no data about you. It bears on public documents, before anyone reads the site, and falls under none of the transparency duties of Article 50: this site is not an AI system, it is a website whose content was written with the help of a tool.
